This grey manual woven Eco print shawl is made handmade from rayon fibers. It uses pomegranate rind powder as natural dyes and uses Indonesian leaves as eco print motives, such as teak leaves, senna alata ( ketepeng leaves), papaya leaves, castor oil leaves, and lanang leaves. In Indonesia, we use these leaves as herbal medicine so it is safe on skin.
It is made by women cadres in Empowering Family Welfare Cadres, Early Childhood Education Cadres, Early Childhood Health Cadres, and Community Empowerment Cadres District Simomulyo and woman victims of domestic violence. They make this shawl and another eco print fashion to increase family income and improve family welfare.
